Festival Parade -
Friday, April 8, 2022
Everyone is invited to ride in the festival parade on Friday, April 8. You are encouraged to decorate your float, vehicle, or bike with the theme: Louisiana Railroad Days Festival or a train theme. There is no fee to enter.
It is a great opportunity to advertise your Business or Club. Golf carts are welcome.
Lineup will be on Third Street, on the south side of DeQuincy Primary School, starting at 2 p.m. The parade will start at 3 p.m. and will travel to the Railroad Museum fairgrounds at Pine St. For more information, call Janet Jordy at 337-842-5022.
The DeQuincy Federated Service League will not be responsible for any property or bodily damage due to items being thrown from any float or vehicle.

We were so pleased to be able to bring back the festival we all know and love. Your support means everything to us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
Special “THANK YOUS” are offered to Mayor Riley Smith, the ladies in City Hall, and the employees of the City of DeQuincy, without whom the festival would not be possible. We would like to say thank you to the Railroad Museum Board and employees. Thank you to all members of DFSL and business groups that participated in this year’s festival.
We appreciate all of the local business and schools that supported the festival by wearing their railroad festival t-shirts each Friday.
